Our Ministries

Christ Community Church has been very effective in reaching the community by offering ministries and services that bring healing and restoration to the lives of the people who are touched by these ministries.

Building Upon the Cornerstone: New Members Classes
The classes serve to provide information regarding our convictions of the scriptures in what we believe as a local church. We encourage new members to complete all seven of the classes so that they will have an understanding of the foundational truths of Christianity.

Children's Church
Children’s Church offers the children of our church the opportunity to receive the Word of God on a level they can understand. Bible study, scripture memorization, games, arts and crafts and snacks are enjoyed by every child who attends. The children also have the opportunity to present their gifts at our special holiday services.

Men's Fellowship
Men’s Fellowship gives the men of the church the opportunity to get together to discuss issues that are on their hearts. There are scheduled events such as basketball games, movies, and dinner in which the men have time to just hang out and relax with one another.

Women's Fellowship
Women’s Fellowship offers the women of the church the opportunity to spend time with each other, sharing, caring and just getting to know one another. There are times of fellowship, worship and teaching brought by our First Lady Cheryl Starling.

Redeemed: Performing Arts Ministry
The Performing Arts Ministry of Christ Community Church consists of a group of exceptionally talented individuals who have a heart for worship. Dancing and Singing play an important role in this ministry as they are used to touch the hearts and the lives of the people in a way that makes a lasting impression.

Marriage for A Lifetime: Marriage Counseling
Marriage Counseling is offered to engaged and married couples. Pastor Starling provides 6-8 weeks of pre-marital counseling prior to the wedding and offers counseling for married couples who may be dealing with issues at any point in their relationship. Workbooks, audio tapes, exercises and yearly marriage retreats all play a major role in strengthening families and keeping marriages together for a lifetime.

Couple's Fellowship
The Christ Community Church Couples Ministry is a ministry that meets the 2nd Saturday of each month to discuss issues relevant to couples in every stage of their relationship. Topics such as raising a family, communication, intimacy and money management are discussed to help couples celebrate every success and face every challenge in a Godly way.

Evangelism Ministry
The Evangelism Ministry is very instrumental in reaching out to the people who live in the community. Door-to-Door witnessing, and street ministry have played an important part in reaching out to others and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry has been involved in helping the community by having an annual coat drive in which members donate gently used winter coats to be given to local women’s shelters. Members of the Outreach Ministry have also been instrumental in visiting State Prisons to visit and pray for inmates.

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry is a ministry that encourages the body of Christ to come together, pray and intercede for issues affecting the local church, our community, our government and our families.

Personal Touch Ministry
The Personal Touch Ministry is instrumental in reaching out to visitors and new believers in Christ. They offer prayer to new believers, reading material to help individuals grow in their relationship with Christ and are instrumental in reaching out to members who may be experiencing personal challenges.
